Product FEATURE
GH907 is a Fe-Ni-Co precipitation hardening low expansion deformation high temperature alloy, strengthened with niobium, titanium, silicon and trace boron. The alloy has high strength, low coefficient of expansion, good resistance to hot and cold fatigue and almost constant modulus of elasticity below 650℃. The Curie point is between 400℃ and 450℃. The coefficient of expansion of the alloy is essentially unchanged below the Curie point. The alloy is suitable for the production of all kinds of aviation and aerospace engine rings and magazines below 650℃, and the main products include bars, forgings, plates and strips. Because the alloy does not contain chromium, aluminum elements, high temperature oxidation resistance is poor. When used for a long time above 700℃, appropriate protective coatings should be adopted. The surface of the alloy can be shot peened, and the rotational bending fatigue can be increased by about 18% after shot peening.
Product application
The alloy has been used in good condition in the manufacture of aero-engine high-pressure compressor rear magazines, load-bearing rings, heat-insulating rings, combustion chamber sealing rings, honeycomb seats and turbine outer rings.
