Product Features
GH907 is a Fe-Ni-Co precipitation hardening high temperature alloy with low expansion and deformation, strengthened with niobium, titanium, silicon and trace boron. The alloy has high strength, low coefficient of expansion, good resistance to hot and cold fatigue and almost constant modulus of elasticity below 650°C. The Curie point is between 400°C and 4000°C. The alloy has a low expansion coefficient and good resistance to hot and cold fatigue. The Curie point is in the range of 400℃-450℃. The coefficient of expansion of the alloy is essentially unchanged below the Curie point. The alloy is suitable for the production of all kinds of aviation and aerospace engine rings and magazines below 650℃, and the main products include bars, forgings, plates and strips. Since the alloy does not contain chromium and aluminium elements, the high temperature oxidation resistance is poor. When used for a long time above 700°C, appropriate protective coatings should be applied. The surface of the alloy can be shot peened, which improves rotational bending fatigue by about 18%.
