Product FEATURE
Alloy 925 has high corrosion resistance and is resistant to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in both reducing and oxidizing environments. Some of the environments in which Alloy 925 is particularly useful are sulfur-containing (H2S-containing) crude oil and natural gas, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and seawater.
Product application
Used in downhole and surface gas well components, including tubular products, valves, suspensions, sit-put joints, tool joints and packers. The alloy is also suitable for fasteners, marine shafts, pump shafts and high-strength piping systems.
