Product FEATURE
Alloy 690 has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and intergranular stress corrosion cracking, mainly used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant steam generator heat transfer tube materials. Pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant steam generator heat transfer tube materials have gone through a development process, including 304 austenitic stainless steel, 600 alloy, 800 alloy and 690 alloy. The corrosion failure study of 600 alloy in service shows that intergranular corrosion and intergranular stress corrosion cracking are the main problems. 690 alloy, as the material for heat transfer tubes of steam generators in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, has not been found to be broken since it was put into use in the 1990s.
Product application
Alloy 690 is mainly used as heat transfer tube material for steam generators in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, which is the
The core technology of steam generator. At present, China has been operating pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant units, only Qinshan I used 800 alloy, Qinshan II, Dada
power plant units in operation in China, only the first phase of Qinshan used 800 alloy, Qinshan II, Daya Bay and Lingao nuclear power plants are using 690 alloy as the heat transfer tube material for steam generators.
Qinshan II, Daya Bay and Ling'ao nuclear power plant are using 690 alloy as steam generator heat transfer tube material.
Most of the pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants under construction and planning also use 690 alloy as the steam generator heat transfer tube material.
