Product FEATURE
ALLOY 400 is one of the most widely used and versatile alloys with excellent overall properties. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, as well as hot concentrated alkaline solutions. It is also resistant to corrosion from neutral solutions, water, seawater, atmosphere and organic compounds. An important feature of this alloy is that it generally does not produce stress corrosion defects and has good cutting properties.
Product application
ALLOY400 alloy is a versatile material with applications in many industrial fields:
1. Seamless water pipes and steam pipes in power plants;
2. seawater exchangers and evaporators;
3. Sulfuric and hydrochloric acid environments;
4. Crude oil distillation;
5. Pump shafts and propellers for deep sea water use equipment;
6. equipment used in the nuclear industry for the manufacture of uranium refining and isotope separation;
7. pumps and valves used in the manufacture of equipment for the production of hydrochloric acid.
